To say, we were apprehensive about building a new home from square one is an understatement. However, we are very glad we chose Heartview over other potential builders because of the personal attention to details provided during the building process. Since we have moved in, we continue to be awestruck by its beauty, craftsmanship, quality, design, and functionality. Since this was our first time building a custom home it was particularly reassuring to know you were just a phone call away. Your personal attention to so many details in our home and your prompt attention regarding any concerns that we had has inspired much confidence over the past year. Now that we have been in our new home for almost one month we are finally finding time to catch up on a couple of important things, like this letter to you. As you know, although we have owned several homes my wife and I have always avoided purchasing a "new" one because we have heard too many horror stories about all the problems - the delays, confusing choices, frustrations and cost over-runs. So when we signed our contract with Heartview Homes we were very hesitant and uncertain about just what we were getting ourselves into.
Let me say that much to our surprise, we have been delighted with all aspects of this experience. The Sales Staff kept the contract process simple and our options were explained clearly. The "basic house" is of such quality that we found no need for costly upgrades, so the choices that we were asked to make were fun, and not at all intimidating. You worked with us on a couple of significant design changes to the basic house. There were no unexpected charges. The Superintendent kept the entire construction process on track - to the point that we closed our purchase 3 weeks early!! In addition, we met most of the subcontractors and were uniformly impressed with their dedication.
But of course, our fundamental concern is with the quality of the final product, and we couldn't be happier with our home - it is quality throughout and operating perfectly. When we have had questions after closing, Heartview Homes has been super-responsive and friendly. We are finding that your excellent service truly continues after the sale.
So we just wanted to say thank you for what you do and how you do it, and wish you continuing success as you provide quality homes in an ethical, honest and trustworthy way.
